Perched above a reservoir Southwest of Portland sits the private estate of a former stone yard owner, who relocated from Santa Cruz to share the property with her daughter, son in law and two teenage grandsons. The intent of the project was to turn acres of lawn into a space to ground the existing residence to the adjacent reservoir, but more importantly to create a property for her family to reconnect with the beauty of the natural environment.
