ROSSMORE
Completed Sept, 2025

Located in the prestigous but quaint Hancock Park neighborhood just south of Hollywood, we were commissioned to fully reinvision the front of a historic tutor estate. After meeting with the client and touring the interior of the home, I was immediately struck by the contemporary art and how it juxtaposed yet complimented the traditional architecture

I was award the commission a few days later and ran with the inspiration of blending ancient techniques with contempoary elements.

We were able to accomplish this through materiality and form. Traditonal stone work and limewashed masonry walls grounded the space with natural materials and organic shapes, while corten gates, walls brought in a modern flare and geometric angles. I had the privelage of creating a monumenta contemporary fountain which was drawn from the inspiring "A Rose for Lily" fountain at the Disney Concert Hall. Native woodland planting sits beneath mature ficus while mediterranean natives hug the sun kissed foundation.

This truly was a dream project and so thankfully executed by my wonderful team of talented artisans.
